[ and just to be a gentleman, Zack flags the barkeep down to get another beer for Cloud. because yeah... yeah that had been kind of his doing. he'll own up to that. ]

[Dammit that sounded a lot more 'kicked puppy'-esque than he'd intended.

He snags the drink when it's brought over after giving Zack a light shove.]

Maybe you should go dance, since you seem so obsessed with the idea.

[ his tone is so VERY sing-song. and Zack's look? it's a knowing one, but he doesn't say anything else. instead he takes a drink out of his own glass. ]

Nah. I wouldn't want to make people jealous.

[ ha... he can't dance but that's fine. no one cares in a bar. ]

The blonde leans back in his chair again, taking a sip of his new drink that doesn't result in him nearly choking to death.]

[ and it takes him WAY too long to answer. ]

[Cloud can't help the slow smirk that tugs at his lips.]

[ snickering. yeah... yeah even he can't keep that up without botching it at the end.

and of course, he carries on like Cloud isn't somewhat surprised. ]

Well not now. I'm putting in an ad, remember?

[ so cocky. so arrogant. look at that smirk. then he reaches over and gives Cloud a much needed ruffle. ]

[A muffled sound of protest escapes Cloud as he attempts to bat the other's hand away.]

Maybe that's for the best. I won't have as many headaches.

[He reaches over then to punch the other's arm lightly.]

Guess I have to make amends with you if you'll let me.
