I'm glad you're here now, though, because you are special. Not to Megatron, but to me. Megatron always had grander things to deal with, greater causes to champion. He had an empire to build. Meanwhile you languished in narcissistic sadomasochism, mewling for attention, hoping that if you bleated loud enough, smeared enough energon on the walls, perhaps Megatron would deign to take note of you once more.
( A little closer now, close enough for Tarn to get a proper look into Overlord's optics. His voice drops a notch, a slight hum in his vocalizer, the first hints of deadly reverb making EM fields shiver. )
He gave you power, and you wasted it. In the grand scheme you're no better than the low scum we've been purging the ranks of, the cowards and traitors to the cause, but I... Take personal, deep offense to those who hold us back in any manner.
( A little lower now, but not quite the spark-stopping murmur. Just enough to make a spark tighten, enough to be felt. Tarn might not be able to rip the armor from Overlord with his bare hands, but he has something far more insidious in his arsenal. )
