Swimming, yes. I grew up not far from here.

[ He's about to continue when the other man suddenly cries out in pain, blood spilling from his hand while his foot is seemingly caught in the rocks.

Thor doesn't hesitate then. He knows without help he might seriously injure himself, or be stuck when the tide rises and end up drowning. So, he dips beneath the water, the fins of his tail visible above the sea momentarily as he goes to check on the situation with his own eyes.

Yes, the man's foot is definitely stuck. With as much care as a merman can be expected to use when dealing with something foreign as a foot, he manages to wiggle it free from the rocks.

Of course, then the human will have trouble standing, won't he?

Thor realizes he's put himself in a situation where he has no longer any choice but to give himself away. Hopefully the human will be grateful enough for the help that he won't cause much of a fuss.

As he rises from beneath the water, he picks the man up with one arm around his back and one beneath his knees. ]


I'll bring you back to shore. That looks like it might need attention.
