Okay.

It was better than nothing and Loki would just have to do his best to actually rest and not strain himself so they could actually get moving in a good amount of time.

Leaving the subject be for now, the slimmer man absently rolled his sleeves up so he could actually use his hands properly before reaching out to take one of his brother's hands to give it a squeeze.

Thank you he signed with his free hand, squeezing Thor's hand again. Would have died without you.

Thor shakes his head slightly, gripping Loki's hand. He stared at the floor for a moment then signs without looking at Loki.

My fault.

Loki wouldn't have let it happen. He was smart, he knew the area. He would have been more cautious and avoided the situation entirely. Thor knew this one was entirely his fault.

He reaches to gently pull Loki closer, pressing their foreheads together. He'd seen too many people killed by those creatures. To see his brother almost die as well was too much.

Even as their foreheads press together Loki shakes his head slightly, reaching up to tap his hand against his brother's chest before firmly finger spelling out a word.

It wasn't Thor's fault. They had both made mistakes and it wasn't like there had been much of a choice. Plus what was done was done and now they just had to move on and keep fighting. Keep living as best they could.

He was alive. That's all that mattered.

Loki let his eyes close, hand resting flat on Thor's chest over his heart for the moment as he let out a quiet breath.

They both were.

It would be harder than that to convince Thor otherwise but Thor also knew there wouldn't be much a point in arguing with Loki. His brother always won out in matters of stubbornness. How many arguments had they had over the years? Loki often won them, and if he didn't he wouldn't hang around for long for Thor to gloat. He'd be busy working out a way to get revenge.

This moment, Loki's hand on his chest. It reminded him of when they were young and only had each other to play with. Years spent running around and making their own adventures and doing their best to avoid chores.

Wishing things would never change.

Get rest. Need rest. Thor motions to Loki to settle back down. He'd eaten a little. There wasn't much that Thor felt comfortable asking Loki to do while recovering.

Loki had opened his eyes again in time to see Thor sign his gentle orders and scoffed silently though there wasn't much fight in him right now. He wanted to help; he didn't want to leave everything on his brother. But what good was he going to be?

Don't over work yourself. Please.

He gave the other a pointed look and prodded him in the chest lightly before starting to shift away.

We both need our strength.
