Time is all we have

Everyone has a time limit. A year, the be exact. A year after you hit a certain age. That age is different for everyone but once your clock starts you have to work for more time or face expiration. No one ages after their clock starts, everyone staying youthful and happy--so long as you have the time to enjoy it.

Congrats. Your clock has officially started and now you have to keep your clock going. Whether that's through working or stealing from others, the choice is yours.

But remember.

Always keep an eye on the time.

Based off the movie "In Time". Rather than use the concept of everyone's clocks starting at age 25, I left it open for people to choose whatever age they want to use.

Puff Trouble

[In theory, a delivery service had been a great idea. An easy way to earn time and something to keep himself busy. The problem was that a lot of other people had gotten the same idea and given the fact that said companies were in other city districts? Most people weren't paying any attention to a lowly delivery service in the slums. Why waste time on poor people when you can give it to your fellow upperclass right?

Cutting his bike off as he stopped outside 7th Heaven, Cloud glanced down at the glowing green numbers on his forearm with a frown.

Half a day.

He was going to either need to take out another loan or find a job at this rate. There was no way he was going to let any of his friends spot him again; he already owed them enough. The blonde sighed and swung his leg over the bike, snagging the key as he went before heading into the bar to get a drink.

Something to take his mind off the time.]

[Things are bustling inside the bar as the afternoon regulars fill in seeking food, alcohol, and a safe place to share their woes and worries about their time and the state of their bank account. The slums are never lacking in woe, and thanks to Tifa, neither is it lacking in alcohol.

She's standing behind the bar when Cloud enters, rag in hand as she briskly wipes it down. But she raises her head when she hears the door open, gaze locking on his familiar form immediately. Her red eyes light up as she takes him in and she smiles.]

Cloud! I've been wondering when you would come by. I must have left you half a dozen messages. Have you just finished a job?

ugh sorry for the delay I'm been out of sorts lately x_x

[Cloud pauses inside the door and can't help but return Tifa's smile with a faint upturn of his own lips.]

Sorry. Things got a little hectic.

[Nothing too terrible; nothing he couldn't handle. And honestly it was just a sad excuse for him being his usual antisocial self.

But hey, he was here now.

Making his way over to the bar the blonde slid onto one of the barstools, letting out a content sigh as he finally got to just relax for a moment.]
