She almost falters at the complete disbelief on his face at her summary but - there's no way someone seriously thinks that skating drama was real, surely. She shelves it quickly however as he keeps struggling to get himself upright, torn between just letting him limp fish flop it out of the tube and honestly worrying he's going to hurt himself. Something's certainly got him - panicked isn't the right word but she can't think of a better one. She steps forward again but this time she offers her hand. He can take her help or not but she can't not offer it. Somehow his struggles don't make her think of him as dangerous no matter what his body looks like.
