Thor chose to wait it out. He didn't move even when he felt a need to. Loki was sleeping so soundly that he wasn't willing to abandon him for a more uncomfortable position on the floor. He could sleep along with him, or listen to the quiet world outside.

He was just glad Loki woke when he roused him. That his brother still breathed and was safe. It would have hurt far too much to have come this far, to have seen and touched Loki only to have him ripped away.

Loki waking roused Thor as well, who lifted his head sluggishly. He pinches his eyes and blinks hard before looking around. Everything was still in good order it seemed and Loki was waking on his own. He rubs his own legs to see if he could get a bit of proper feeling back in them before attempting to help Loki stand.
