Thor had gone still. His brow had furrowed hard and his hands were in tight fists. His head turned slowly, slightly to look towards the small movement at the corner of his eye. It was Loki. He makes a barely perceptible nod to acknowledge he saw the sign.

He startles at the sound of the creature slipping on the tile as it makes a leap to the next house, closer to where they were on the street. It clicks in irritation, searching the air for the sound of the birds again.

A clicking sound from the side draws Thor's attention and he sees it. A second creature, lurking from between the houses behind Loki. His lips part, looking ready to shout in alarm to Loki but he catches himself.
