Thor could eat more later he would argue. He was used to rationing at this point. It wouldn't be fair to consume all of the food. Loki would die much faster in a food shortage situation. Just look at him. He was probably 100 pounds soaking wet. It would be at least be a quick death with so little reserves to pull from.

Of course, Thor soon saw, Loki still enjoyed his bed nests. He smiles to himself, bumping his shoulder against his brother. Fond memories of their father refusing to turn up the heat in the winter. Well, fond for Thor at least.
