For a split second Loki thought they were completely screwed. He fully expected his brother to actually speak and doom them both.

Thankfully Thor seemed to at least be smart enough to restrain himself from doing so though it didn't stop him from crushing him in an embrace and dear gods you are lucky he was quick enough to turn the blades away so you didn't get stabbed, Thor!

The tension in his frame drains slowly and he returns the embrace just before Thor pulls back, a bit surprised but pleased to see that his brother had picked up some sign language.
