The instant he'd heard about it Noctis knew that he needed to take Prompto. It was right up the blonde's alley and if he didn't take him and the other found out about it after the fact? Noctis was never going to live it down. Plus, it was a good chance to spend some time with just Prompto. It wouldn't be hard to ditch Ignis and Gladio--if nothing else the two would enjoy a break from them as well--and then they could just run around the city together and...okay, so Noctis had a word in his head that he wanted to apply to the situation but he wasn't sure if it was appropriate. Hell, he wasn't sure if Prompto would really want to consider it the same thing that he did. So he'd just keep that to himself.

As expected Prompto had been extremely enthusiastic about the entire thing and, after a little convincing on Ignis's part, they finally made their way to Altissa for the festival.

The older duo were left behind at the hotel the second they could get away with it, Noctis tugging Prompto out of the hotel--a strange chance of pace from how things usually were--and out into the street. Everything was decked out for the festival and people of all ages were milling about, dressed up in moogle and chocobo themed attire. Noctis couldn't help but laugh lightly, in surprise and delight, not realizing right away that he was still holding Prompto's hand tightly as he turned to look at the other.
