Victor could sense there was a difference between them. The dynamic had changed, Yuuri a little more closed off in the subtle ways but the young man was doing his best to keep things low key.

He turns his head to watch Yuuri skating around him, not following him with a full body turn. He would come back around eventually, and Victor was smiling at him.

"The bronze was my first medal, actually. From my very first competition. I was so proud of it, but decided I wanted gold after that. Its my favorite medal anyway."

He had a rather good start, considering he had been young when he'd earned the bronze.

"I've no shame, I'm sure you've noticed. But I'd love to see you adorned with more gold. I intend to make sure that happens!"
