An almost delighted chuckle was Prompto's response as Ardyn shook his head, allowing some slack on the wires now.
"Am I? And what proof do you have of my lies, Prompto? Have you ever seen your parents?" He gives the young man a mock sympathetic look, his free hand lifting to brush the backs of his fingers against his cheek. "Have you ever gotten a call from them? Or a letter?"
